A Word from Our Founder, Kathie Eckman
In my 20 years-plus experience, I've been a city counselor and mayor. My experience, plus my visits to Condega, Nicaragua in 2010 and 2011 and Japan in 1996, led me to create this organization to help fund some of the programs for the City of Bend's Sister Cities.  I am a past president of the local Rotary Club of Bend, and a member of the World Community Service Committee committed international projects.  We are currently working of supplying water filters to provide clean water to agriculture areas and school supplies, textbooks, and library books for the community of Condega, Nicaragua.
